SIRA

SIRA regulates motor accidents, Compulsory Third Party insurance, workers compensation insurance and the home building compensation scheme in NSW, and provides independent dispute resolution services.

SIRA (State Insurance Regulatory Authority) funds, educates and promotes injury prevention to reduce the need for compensation claims.

A core focus is on ensuring effective service delivery to injured people, and the affordability and sustainability of these insurance schemes. SIRA is governed by an independent Board.
