Program evaluation

Summary of program evaluations for the Department of Customer Service in accordance with endorsed 12 month schedules.

Treasury Circular 2018-03 sets out the NSW Government's expectations for evaluation of agency programs. It advises that Evaluations should be prioritised, planned and conducted in line with the  NSW Government Program Evaluation Guidelines.

Clusters are required to prepare annual evaluation schedules for approval by the Cabinet Expenditure Review Committee (ERC).

Furthermore, both the Circular and Guidelines state that in line with the Government Information (Public Access) Act, agencies are mandated to proactively and publicly release the findings of program evaluations, unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure of the information.
